F63,9
On April 21 , 2016 Zurab Arabidze’s exhibition called «F63,9» was opened in Georgian National Gallery. Exhibition was organized by Gamrekeli Gallery and supported by TNN ART Project. The main concept of the exhibition is the principle of “Mantra” — the different positive words, or phrases are written on a huge canvases more than hundred times so that, after reading these words, energy charge, which mantra creates, penetrates into different layers of persons unconsciousness and fills each cell with information. “I love you”, “come to me”, “I miss you”, “ I want to be with you” – it is some kind of meditation for visitors. Artworks are all dedicated to love and beauty, in fact, the name of the exhibition «F63,9» is the name, code, of the scientifically approved decease called «Love»
Together with the artworks was published a book about love, where love is explained in different shrifts for 63 468 times. These books also were part of the installation at the exhibition, they all were placed into the old book-case. The initial idea about the illustration came from the author’s observations about attitudes towards love. In majority of cases we hide love, and as time passes we don’t open up ,we don’t talk about love anymore. In order to deepen the feeling of love , in order to highlight the memories ,Zurab arabidze presents the book «I love you» and the first page of this book is empty for the owner of the book to express how much he/she loves…
People, the visitors also became the part of the exhibition, by the interactive desk, were every visitor was welcomed to write anything about love. And as a result it became an amazing piece of art about love, created by the people.
